Some Atom Eve appreciation
I’ve been catching up on Invincible, and let me just say it is amazing, and Eve has quickly became one of my favorite. SO for that reason, I will be posting her now.
You what's the beat feeling?
Showing someone a movie you love, and after they’ve seen it, they like it as well.
Most Anticipated of 2011
Conclusion to “Three”: This story arc got me into Fantastic Four, and let me say that Hickman is a fantastic writer. This is something that will rock the Marvel Universe, and anything could happen. I can not wait.
Runner- Up: Flashpoint
Best Single Issue of 2010
Batman & Robin #16: The return of Bruce Wayne. That is really all I have to say about this.
Runner- Up: X- Force #26
Best Moment of 2010
Oberon Sexton’s Big Reveal (Batman & Robin #12): I think, at first, no one saw this coming. It is The Joker’s huge return to the DC Universe.
Runner- Up: Sentry Rips Ares in Half (Siege #3)
Best Cover of 2010
Batman: Streets of Gotham #17 (Dustin Nguyen): For this one, I had a small dilemma. Nguyen’s painted covers are all stunning and jaw dropping.
Runner- Up: Brightest Day #10 (David Finch)
Best New Series of 2010
American Vampire: A breath of fresh air to the entire vampire mythos. From issue one, I was hooked. Scott Snyder is quickly becoming a writing power house in DC.
Runner- Up: Avengers Academy
Best Mini- Series of 2010
X- Force: Sex & Violence: This was an amazing end to a fantastic run on X- Force. Yost and Kyle do a fantastic job writing this book and the art work is amazing. Just about everything in this book is perfect. Definitely one of my favorite reads all year.
Runner- Up: Joe the Barbarian
Best Continuing Series
The Walking Dead: After being turned into a huge commercial hit on AMC, there was no doubt that Kirkman’s post- apocalyptic, never ending zombie hit would turn out to be one of the best on going titles. 80 issues in, and still as strong as ever.
Runner- Up: Invincible Iron Man
